History

It began in 1920 when George Fogler and his wife Anne came out to Rochester from Royal Oak. Foglers Farm began with dairy cattle, chickens, and an apple orchard.

George had seven sons, two of which continued to farm. As time went on, the farm transitioned dairy cattle to more grain farming. They would sell the fruits and vegetables on a small covered wagon in front of the old farmhouse.

As the area's population grew and more housing developed, Foglers began focusing more on fruits and vegetables and started moving away from grain. The younger generation started to expand the agricultural season by building greenhouses.

Today, Foglers Farm and Greenhouse has grown into a community favorite that has something for everyone to enjoy.

That is the basis of Foglers' business community and family.
